Located in Perak- Preferably from manufacturing or Semiconductor industry- Knowledge in Ssupply planningAs a Semiconductor Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing the supply chain operations of a semiconductor manufacturing or distribution company. You will be responsible for analyzing data, forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain management. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the company's ability to meet customer demands while minimizing operational costs and risks.**Key Responsibilities**:- Demand Forecasting:- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to develop accurate demand forecasts.- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather relevant market information and adjust forecasts accordingly.- Generate demand forecasts for different product lines and regions.- Inventory Management:- Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with production schedules and customer demand.- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.- Work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize lead times.- Data Analysis:- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain performance.- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in the supply chain process.- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.- Supplier Relationship Management:- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements.- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or lead times.- Identify alternative sources of supply and assess supplier risk.- Process Improvement:- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the supply chain.- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.- Continuously monitor and evaluate supply chain processes for efficiency and effectiveness.- Reporting and Communication:- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and key metrics.- Communicate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on supply chain status and issues.- Risk Management:- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.- Monitor external factors such as geopolitical events, natural disasters, and industry trends that may impact the semiconductor supply chain.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Proven experience in supply chain analysis within the semiconductor industry or a similar high-tech field.- Able to speak Mandariin- Knowledge of supply chain management software and SAP systems**Responsibilities**:ExperienceEducationAdecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.The Adecco Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
