Job Description
Responsibilities
Assisting teachers of groups and individuals of all ages and levels as required by the Centre, but especially Pre-School and Young Learner classes.
In the classroom, helping the teacher to engage students in all activities and helping students as directed by the teacher.
Providing care and attention to all students, especially helping those who are distressed for any reason.
Helping and guarding students who leave the classroom, eg to go to the bathroom or during class breaks; and taking groups to other parts of the centre or off-site, always as directed by the teacher.
Gathering and preparing all teaching and other materials as directed by the teacher.
Decorating the classroom and other parts of the Centre with children?s work, posters, etc as directed by the teacher.
Requirements
Higher Secondary / STPM
At least 2 years relevant work with young students
Experience of assisting teachers in a primary school or an English language centre
