Technical Assistant - Marine

To monitor unloading of coal and advise jetty operator/ JEP about safe operations.- Any work/ vessel movements will be managed by the Marine Superintendent.- Ensure JEP Jetty's staffs ad vessels staffs are aware of safety practices & protocols.- Ensure that effective coordination prevails between JEP Jetty and vessels.- To maintain knowledge of industry terminal and marine regulations and ensure that procedures are performed accordingly.- Create and maintain productive relationship with all members of JEP Jetty and vessel.- Respond to emergencies related to terminal.- Maintain familiarity with terminal operations and acts as backup to lead jetty operator.- Maintain documentation of quality assurance information for JEP Jetty and vessels.- Responsible to the Safe Operation of unloading work.- Must be present throughout unloading works (at least within the station compound.- Submit a daily report on Marine Superintendent activities.- Submit vessel summary report for each vessel and monthly summary report.- To assist Integrax's representatives as and when required within the scope of works rendered to JEP.- Marine Superintendent shall be appointed as Safety Representative on behalf of JEP for vessel operation.- To act as JEP's representative for vessel unloading work.- Attend coordination meeting between JEP and Jetty Operator.- All other ad-hoc assignment required by the management and/or superior.Requirement- Diploma in Marine Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.- Proactive, resourceful, independent and able to work with very minimum supervision.- Able to work under pressure to meet deadline.- Able to start work ASAP is an added advantage.
