We are seeking a Technical Solution Consultant to join our global Pre-Sales team supporting the APAC and ANZ regions.Reporting to the Director of Solution Consulting, this role is pivotal in delivering presentations and product demonstrations for our Library Software products.By closely collaborating with Management, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, you will help drive our pre-sales efforts forward.This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about delivering the value of our innovative products to a diverse range of customers and prospects.Your specialized consulting activities will not only help secure new business and market share but also enhance customer satisfaction.About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments:1-2 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering/solution consulting positions.Experience working within the library industry.Proficiency in confident presentation and public speaking.It would be advantageous if you possess any of the following:Experience in library marketing.Basic knowledge of SQL reporting tools or API skills.Experience in library events management.Webmaster experience or proficiency in website maintenance.Knowledge of cloud hosting, SSO, SAML, and general SaaS solutions.What You Will Be Doing in This Role:Identifying and uncovering prospect and customer business needs and pain points.Developing and delivering targeted sales presentations for customers or new prospects.Collaborating closely with Sales colleagues to strategize around sales opportunities.Working cross-functionally with internal teams such as Product, Sales, and Marketing.Scheduling, promoting, and delivering business presentations to library professionals and end-users across Asia Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand.Delivering live onsite or web-based business presentations via platforms like Teams and Zoom.Scripting and recording online product demos.Attend customer user group meetings, sales meetings, and occasional industry conferences.About the Team:This role falls under the Innovative public library software business unit of Clarivate, Academia, and Government, reporting to the Director of Solution Consulting.You will join a diverse global team of Solution Consultants dedicated to supporting the Library Software group, with a focus on public libraries in the APAC and ANZ regions.Our team values collaboration and information sharing, providing essential global feedback to regional teams within our matrixed organization.Hours of Work:This is a full-time permanent position based in Malaysia, with the possibility of working from our Penang office 3 days per week and the remainder of the week on a hybrid remote basis.The role also involves travel, estimated at 30-50%.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.We comply with applicable laws and regulations governing non-discrimination in all locations.
