Technician (Scaffolding)

DescriptionMAIN TASKSAccountable and responsible for maintenance management of scaffolding, to deliver the specified level of availability in the most cost effective way with respect to safety, business requirements and conditions. §To maintain scaffolding condition and work execution, ensuring safety, quality, availability, reliability and cost effectiveness of work for complexes/areas. §To ensure scaffolding complies to DOSH standards and technical specification. §To ensure scaffolding execution complies to BPC technical specification §To supervise and monitor scaffolding activities within the time given. §To work with maintenance team to ensure activities and work quality meeting the set standard. §To communicate effectively with Planners and Supervisors for successful work execution. §To coordinate with operation, maintenance team and contractors for smooth scaffolding execution. §To work with complex team field supervision on integrated planning between complexes. §To work in TAR activities, execution and monitoring of scaffolding activities. §To work with MOC and new Project through active involvement by offering advice and site supervision. REQUIREMENTS •Diploma in engineering from a recognized university or college •Experience working in the industrial chemical set-up is an added advantage •Ability to work independently with minimum supervision •Proactive, committed and result oriented team player •Having highly proactive attitude with strong problem solving and analytical skills •Highly independent and possess excellent leadership capabilities •Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill and able to work under pressure •Good proficiency of English, both spoken and written
