In our coffee team, everybody are assigned for different task. Being said, if your position is Promoting, you're only assigned to do promoting. There would be no multitask, as this is the strategy so that everybody in the team can perform their job better with Quality.My story is that I'm a Barista, I've been working in many restaurants & cafes. I learn to make coffee from my Shifu and I made a promise to him to be the best of the best in the world of coffee making. I've travelled from KL and hoping that in this Muar town, I can find my potential crew to join my Coffee team. I'm finding those who have the same mind as mine, we can be friends and travel together.My cafe' called The Great Magestic. I grew fond with English fantasy & literatures, so thus the concept of my Cafe' fill with majestic stuff such as Knights, Dragons, Magics. My cafe' is not a normal Cafe'. We are Victorian+Dragons. We don't use electricity, we use fire, our way is the old way. Imagine a Bakehouse using an old firestove without the need of electricity. I have a lot of future projects, different chapters with multiple concepts. For example concept 1 is The Dragon Cart, concept 3 is Wagon, concept 9 is Castle. We're building bits by bits, start from small slowly to be an Empire. Fyi, I crafted my coffee without electricity too. (Yes, I can do Latte Art without machine)I've been running my Chapter 1 in Muar town for few months now. I am planning to go for Expansion, and without a Team, I couldn't Expand. I've been trying to look for potential Teammates but still there's no luck until today.So there are Three positions for the Founding Team (Knightrista, Queen, Hand) Knightrista is me, one who crafted coffee. Queen is one who handle the money. Hand is a Customers-Service representative. Let me explain both of the position real quick.Queen is a powerful term for a woman, especially when it come to money-handling. She will do the accounting part mostly, financial strategy & advise me in term of costing & money handling. Queen helps our team to grew our business financially. As simple as this to tell you what Queen do. When you run a retail shop, the 'cashier' is the heart of the retail shop. If the 'cashier' is empty, the business will die. So Queen is one who run the Heart(Cashier) of the cafe.Hand is more like a cafe assistant. After I done crafting my coffee, I need the Hand to pack the cup and deliver them to customers. When I'm busy crafting coffee, I got no time to talk to customers, so Hand will be the Customer Service representative, an Icon of our cafe'. When customers came, the first person they saw is The Hand's enthusiasm towards the service. The Hand must have a loud voice and passionate in helping others, passionate in customers greeting and communication. The Hand is someone who is Loyal and have a good Vibe when serving others.Knightrista is me. I'm The Boss and I'm in charge in making the coffee (the product). As a leader, I'm also responsible in constructing strategies and making decision during meeting. Knightrista is a term in Magestic means a Coffee maker who craft coffee using a manual method (Handcrafter).If you can see- My working-flow is perhaps different than other places. The Boss who have to work and making product while the other two(Queen and Hand) is assigned to assist on other tasks(Queen: Sale, Hand: Service). It's like I'm the Boxer while you two helps by reaching towels and water bottle. It's like I'm the chef while you two doing the promoting and sale. This work-flow have the reason. We are working in cafe, not working in the office. In the cafe, one who holds the Espresso machine is the Leader and making coffee. One who holds the cashier, take order and handle sale. One who at the floor deliver coffee, serve & greet customers.Never let three people do same job, make everybody do different job because our aim is to serve Fast & efficient. We wants our coffee to be deliver fast, we wants our service is quick and smooth.Project currently: Chapter ONE.Chapter ONE is a Dragon cart. You picture your groceries store trolley cart but with coffee machine and.. a Dragon Head, it sorta looks like that. This concept is design for those crave for Hot morning coffee kicks. The menu is designed for specialty hot coffees. The operation is from the 7am to 11am only. After that, we all can go for Lunch and go home. The pros about Chapter One is that it is mobile, it can put anywhere and it can go anywhere. The cons is that it is rather limited. So our challenge is to build our capital as much as we can with this so that we can go for Chapter TWO.In Magestic, that's how it is. We build capital from Chapters to Chapters so that we can go further. From a small project >bigger project.
