Job Description:CONTEXT:Deliver the best user experience for the user Passionate about creative solutions to UI/UX design problemsTranslate designs into business results for clientsTake a leadership role in projects and mentor other designers in the teamCOPE & AUTHORITY Current: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and software engineers. Collaborate with product managers, developers, analytics and different stakeholders to achieve a shared vision. Illustrate design ideas using flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.Data driven design
- plan and conduct user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns. Produce high-quality designs, mock-ups and layouts for responsive websites, landing pages, newsletters, mobile applications and other digital interfaces.Leadership role within the team – mentoring other designers, establish the process and collaborative culture within the team. New/Future: Stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology. Participating in pitches and workshops with potential clients.KEY RESULT AREAS: Match strategic direction with appropriate design results for the digital and web-based marketing initiatives while providing quality assurance on creative deliverables.Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Multimedia, Graphic/Web Design, User Experience or equivalent. 8+ years of experience in web/ mobile app UX/UI, preferably working on a large-scale digital projects or equivalent experience in a digital agency, media company, advertising agency. A portfolio of previous design work. Preferably with a description of his/her role in the project, how the project was conducted, the challenges faced, how those challenges were overcome and the learnings. Strong UX skills with the ability to create & annotate user experiences/ wireframes/prototypes. Passionate in identifying new trends, technologies and best practices. Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with stakeholders/clients. Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, UXPin, Adobe XD, Figma or Framer. Ability to take creative direction and produce highly engaging designs that show a strong attention to details.Strong digital design, layout and typography skills with strong, clean visuals. Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Able to manage multiple projects & tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills. Bonus:Ability to communicate with developers effectively by having proficiency in technical languages and frameworks, such as: React Native, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, PHP, WordPress. Experience with Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Agile work environment.Experience in eCommerce or the telecommunications industry. Experience in the full development life cycle of mobile applications.Experience with Design Systems such as Material Design and Atomic Design.Video and animation skills such as Adobe After Effects and Lottie.
