**About the Role**The Business Services team in Corporate Solutions Operations is looking for an Underwriting Analyst IP to provide Program Management Services on all Captive Accounts and allocated Complex Accounts from the International Portfolio.Managing the end-to-end process in accordance with the International Program Guidelines on some International Accounts. To work with International Program Operations to ensure that all administrative activities in connection with global programs are carried out on time and to a high level of quality.Where required, prepare timely processing instructions to the International Program Service Unit, Credit Control, and Reinsurance so that premiums can be debited and policies issued promptly, ensuring accurate policy records are maintained on Swiss Re Corso systems. The role also involves working closely with Credit Control, the International Programs Processing Service Unit, and other Swiss Re Corso departments to ensure resolution of accounting and processing problems.To ensure that Swiss Re Corso Service Standards are met and exceeded in the implementation of Global Programs.To provide advice and mentor where appropriate to the International Programs Underwriting Assistants.To build positive relationships with clients/brokers and become the focal and contact point for all service matters relating to their accounts.To play a leading role at client and/or broker stewardship or new business meetings by providing an overview of Swiss Ro Corso's global servicing capabilities.To work closely with the relevant IP stakeholders to assist in winning new business acquisitions and all appropriate business support activities.**Key Responsibilities**- Ensure that all handled programs are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines.- Providing support to Producing Offices on quote and rating for quotations for required Local Quoted Coverages i.e., Terrorism, when requested.- Account handling and supporting Customer and Distribution Managers, and Underwriters on relevant accounts/activities.- Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters, Clients, Brokers, Swiss Re Corso Offices, and other external parties.- Ensure renewal terms are acquired from Producing Office Underwriters, and information passed to and agreed with the local Client/Broker as necessary.- Lead a team when required, and work independently to uphold Swiss Re Corso's ethical and service standards.- Assist where required with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout a given year for better improvement to the International Program Department.- Handle ad-hoc cases that may be required to be completed may be outside the scope of day-to-day work requirements.**About You****Qualifications**A-Levels Standard or equivalent is desirableChartered Insurance Institute - An Insurance Certificate is desirable**Language capability**English, and a foreign language (i.e., Japanese) would be an advantage.**Work Experience in the Insurance Industry is essential**We are passionate about what we do, and we strive every single day for excellence. An upbeat personality and a can-do attitude are values more than a trained skill.
