Full Job Description- Assist the veterinarian in treatment of the patients.- Provide physiotherapy when required and instructed by a veterinarian.- Walk patients at least twice a day or as directed- Give medications as prescribed by the veterinarian- Ensure the ward area, isolation room, consultation rooms and pharmacy are kept clean- Make sure every diagnostic equipment that is used is clean so as not to affect the accuracy of the results of the tests.- Monitor stock of controlled drugs, other medications and instruments in the clinic- Place order with the head office once stock of drugs is low.- Assist veterinarians to dispense and label medication as instructed.- Prepare surgical instruments and gowns in the surgery room- Update patient records with laboratory results and other relevant information such as drug dispensed when instructed by veterinarian.- Set up appointments with clients for follow-up cases and vaccination and heartworm prevention boosters.- Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills- Diligent and vary effective in completing task and duties- Able to work Rotation Shift (day & night shift), weekends and Public Holidays- A pet lover or must have love or animals- Experience in handling animals would be preferred- Those without required qualifications but have the relevant working experience in a hospital environment are welcome to apply- Provide compassionate care for pets- Restrain pets for veterinarians and technicians- Monitor and collect urine and fecal samples as needed- Monitor, record, and report physical signs of hospitalized/boarded pets- Clean cages, runs, boarding area and/or hospital facilities, including exam rooms, treatment room, exotics and isolation area, employee lounge, bathrooms and doctor's office- Maintain reception area in a neat and sanitary condition- Provide clean bedding, water and litter pans for pets- Feed and exercise hospitalized/boarded pets as needed- Take incoming pets to appropriate areas- Bathe pets and prepare pets for dismissal- Retrieve pets that are being discharged- Re-stock ward with food from food room- Bring retail food to reception area- Re-stock reception area shelves- Do laundry- Wash and sanitize pet dishes- Perform other duties as assignedSPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or EquivalentDiploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Meal allowance- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Fixed shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Performance bonus- Yearly bonus
