Assistant Contract Manager

**Responsibilities**:- Leads contract negotiations and manages all changes in and addendums to existing contracts.- Provides responses to bids, proposals and contract negotiations.- Liaise closely with the sub-contractors, architects & consultant for site issue.- Monitors the performance of each signed contract, close out, extension, and renewal.- Trains and supervises other contract professionals.- Communicates contract implementations to subordinates.- Verify on monthly main contractor and subcontractor interim payment certificate and letter of award (LOA), final account.- Monitor the construction cost and VO are within budget.- Advise and assist Contract Manager on compliance with contractual requirement.- Work in conjunction with site/project manager on budget preparation, evaluation, negotiation award of sub contract.- Problem solving contract related issue.**Job Requirements**- Degree or Masters' Degree holder in Quantity Surveyor in development/construction-based environment.- More than 10 years of working experience in related field.- In-depth experience of QS work & contract administration in development field.- In-depth knowledge of standard of procedure for QS practice.- Experience in pre & post contracts management such as preparation of tender doc, tender analysis, BOQ, procurement & award of contracting work, budget controls, negotiation and contract administration.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Proactive, dynamic, hardworking & a good team player.- Willing to work in Seri Manjung Perak.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Meal allowance- Parental leave- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Performance bonus
