Responsibilities • Collaborate with the design team, other software engineers and product managers to design, build, enhance, and test new features • Write clean and maintainable code that is properly tested and reviewed • Understand the product thoroughly. Analyse, design and develop functionalities based on product requirements. • Identify and fix problems to improve stability and user experience • Explore and evaluate the practicality of new technologies to improve existing processes and/or products • PHP (Laravel), Python (Django), Node • Java and other open source technologies experience will be appreciated • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and grasp strong JavaScript fundamentals • 5 years+ experience developing cloud based application or consulting as a Solution Architect. • Ability to position cloud technology against solution requirements. • Understanding of latest modern web stack technologies; Responsive Web Design using CSS, NPM/YARN, Webpack, ReactJS, GatsbyJS, Styled components. • In depth experience with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. • Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL/NewSQL, networking, and cloud-based delivery models. • Experience working with REST, GraphQL and API integration • Excellent writing and communication in English. • Ability to effectively manage challenging situations without loss of focus when under pressure Requirements Set direction and cascade team/function goals to ensure goals are well-defined and clearly communicated Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Business Transformation and DKSH behaviors to achieve team/function goals Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Business Transformation and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning Functional skills and knowledge: Demonstrate strong understanding of the digital competitive landscape in Asia with high familiarity of market trends and developments Demonstrate high familiarity with digital business models Proven experience in working with partners in digital ventures Proven experience in working in digital or e-commerce projects Demonstrate solid understanding of the information technology Proven professional expertise in project management and service delivery Proven ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously and execute to completion in a timely manner Proven competency to handle confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
