Backend Developer

**Server-Side Programming**:Writing server-side code to handle requests from the front end.Using programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, Node.js, or others.**Database Management**:Designing and maintaining databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.Working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Managing server infrastructure and ensuring scalability.**API (Application Programming Interface) Development**:Creating APIs to allow communication between the front end and back end.Implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs for data exchange.**Security**:Implementing security measures to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.Handling authentication and authorization processes.Integrating third-party services and APIs.**Version Control**:Using version control systems like Git to manage and track changes in code.Collaborating with front-end developers and other team members.Optimizing database queries and server-side code for efficiency.**Scalability**:Designing systems that can scale to handle increased user loads.Implementing load balancing and other scalability measures.**Code Architecture**:Designing and implementing the overall architecture of the back-end system.Following best practices for code organization and maintainability.**Collaboration with Front-End Developers**:Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems.Ensuring smooth communication between the two layers.**Testing**:Conducting unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of the back-end code.Implementing automated testing when applicable.**Documentation**:Creating documentation for the back-end codebase.Documenting APIs for external and internal use.**Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**:Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of code changes.**Monitoring and Debugging**:Setting up monitoring tools to track the performance and health of the back-end system.Debugging and resolving issues that arise in the production environment.**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time**Salary**: RM6,263.28 - RM11,978.28 per monthExpected hours: 17 per week**Benefits**:- Free parking- Gym membership- Work from homeSupplemental pay types:- Commission payAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
