Barista

**Overview of Beverage/Coffee maker role**:- Brew coffee & prepare a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos.- Grind coffee beans and tamp them into the portafilter. Steam milk, froth it to create microfoam, and pour latte art when applicable.- Monitor brewing equipment to ensure quality and consistency.- Describe different coffee flavor profiles and recommend beverages to customers when necessary.- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar area, regularly clean coffee equipment and machines.- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage supplies.- Assist in Cash Handling and operating POS system for order entry and payment processing., including credit card transactions.**Qualifications**:- Formal academic qualification is **NOT** required, though Barista certification or training is a plus.- Can understand simple English.- Previous experience as a Barista in coffee making is beneficial.- Knowledge of coffee beans, roasting, and preparation methods is a plus.- Proficiency in operating espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment.**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM2,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Free parking- Meal providedSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Overtime payApplication Question(s):- Can you do coffee lattes art ?**Experience**:- Barista: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Cantonese (preferred)Expected Start Date: 02/15/2024
