Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

The role is envisioned to oversee the development and strong management of increasingly complex Enterprise contract management. This generally includes oversight of the end to end contract lifecycle process which includes contract content authoring/execution, development of specific standards and document management. A contract manager requires close collaboration with other departments and stakeholders; business operations, finance, legal etc. This role will be the key functional person on IT/Systems related project and will be dealing with the technical team closely.
What are you accountable for?
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Systematic organizational standards in drafting contractual provisions from pre to post sales. Review, track and manage the implementation and enforcement of contractual obligations. Manage strategy for deviations handling. Ensure risks are identified, communicated and managed from a commercial and contractual perspective.
COMPLIANCE
Enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance. Conduct due diligence in respect of new directors / shareholders. Establish governance framework and provides appropriate solutions to mitigate any potential risks.
IT
Key functional person to liaise with the IT team on system related matters Able to translate the functional requirement to technical requirement Experience and knowledge in contract management or billing related systems
What do you need to have for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in IT or other equivalent discipline. Possesses a working knowledge of company policies and procedures. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Experience in contract preparation and management is an added advantage.
