Role & Responsibilities of the Business Analyst: - The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and documenting current business procedures and processes and evaluating their efficiency.
- Analyse the risks and implications of proposed changes and make alternative recommendations when necessary.
- Support the purchasing team and carry out comprehensive research on relevant IT products.
- Deliver concise, easily understandable reports to all audiences on technical matters.
- The Business Analyst will act as a trusted link between technical and business teams in the aim of delivering high standard solutions.
- Produce documentation on business cases and analyse benefits for all proposed changes and planned work.
- Work closely with Developers to create documentations, PoC and storyboards in line with customer requirements and budget.
- Provide Project support to internal teams with the management and development of new and existing applications.
- Collaborate with relevant teams and work towards maintaining and standardising internal business and operational processes.
Skills & Requirements of the Business Analyst:
- Must have Business Analyst background either within IT or Finance.
- Job relevant degree level education would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience of analysing business processes and requirements.
- Proven ability to create user cases and studies.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Must be able to prioritise own workload effectively (experience with MoSCoW methodology).
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and solve problems effectively unsupervised.
- Ability to evaluate best practices and make recommendations if necessary.
- Confident approach to reviewing and challenging requirements.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in documenting software Acceptance Criteria.
- Demonstrable ability to carry out multiple analysation projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of MS Visio and Office.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Previous experience of working within Prince 2 and / or Agile methodologie
