Job Description Responsibilities: Provide support to the management to perform overall maintenance of the plant, building and facilities available at site.
Planning and supervise the work of contractors and engage in repair works and others monitoring works.
To ensure all electrical installation, plant machine and facilities are always well maintained and calibrated.
Maintain the cleanliness of working area and upkeep the workshop tools, equipment, spare parts and stock inventory in the proper place as well update drawings, specifications and manuals.
Carry out trouble shoot, repair and maintenance work inclusive of breakdown maintenance, plan preventive maintenance, routine inspection and corrective maintenance.
Identifying technical problems as well as planning and carry out preventive maintenance works.
Assist the management in energy savings through equipment operation.
Assist and supervise external vendors on electrical installation / maintenance / repairs / visiting engineer inspection and others monitoring work.
Supervise and monitor the whole plant Electrical System including Standby Generator, Plant Control System, Boiler System, Fire Protection System, CCTV, Air Compressor, Punch Card, pump, telephone, Lighting (street & building), Air-Conditioner and Public Announcement system.
To monitor incoming electrical supply and operate the electrical standby generator.
To troubleshoot, service and test run generators.
To diagnose all faults in generators e.g. not able to start or stop from electrical and mechanical aspects.
To maintain switchboards, LV switchgear, commission protection relays & electrical equipment.
To carry out wirings up to 3 phases, LV power cablings for factories & buildings.
Responsible for the performance of LV/LT systems.
Assist the management in implementation of Health, Safety, Environment Procedure, ISO 9001:2008 and comply with relevant standard regulation or procedures.
To ensure all relevant laws, statutes and regulations relating to electrical system and installation are complied.
Carry out daily routine check for all plant equipment.
Complete stipulated work in specified time frame or deadline.
Able to perform maintenance work at any time, able to work outstation and work with minimum supervision.
Monitor and troubleshoot software program downloaded into Programmable Logic Control(?PLC?) for three (3) Unit of Microwave Disinfection System, One (1) Unit of 15MTD Incinerator Plant and Continuous Emission Monitoring System.
Assist in Carrying out mechanical related work such as welding, and artisans work scope.
Assist in electrical competency work related.
Undertake other duties and responsibility as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as when necessary for the effective realizations of the job purpose.
Requirements:
SPM with Certificate of Chargeman LV A0/A1/A4-2/A4-1/A4
Registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
3 years working experience in related field, preferably in incinerator repair and maintenance.
Good organizing, problem solving and communication skills. Knowledge in Safety, Health and Environment is essential.
