Location:- Kulim- Specialisation:- Others- Salary:- MYR 120,000 - 168,000 (Annual)- Reference:- PR/157030- Contact details:- Rita Boon- Job published:- March 26, 2024 14:26**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.- Conduct market analysis and research to understand commodity trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities.- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish terms and conditions to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand commodity requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.- Monitor commodity markets, industry developments, and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and opportunities.- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, issue resolution, and supplier development initiatives.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability within the supply chain.- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier information in compliance with company policies and regulations.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**- At least 5 years of procurement & sourcing experience, supply chain or operational management experience, or other related experience- Negotiation and business management skills- Analytical and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.- Strong communication skills especially in English
