Essential Responsibilities * Lead a team that performs the following:
* Drive proactive Contract Management margin enhancement and cash collection efforts including negotiation of settlement agreements within financial reserves, securing change orders per GE entitlement while striving for increased margin, and driving recoveries from vendors, partners, customers and insurance companies.
* Work with various functions to develop settlement strategies and presentations.
* Participate in negotiations with customers, vendors and partners.
* Work closely with Legal as required to develop mitigation strategies and support mediation, arbitration and litigation.
* Work closely with PM and other functions to prevent commercial and contractual risks and increase customer satisfaction.
* Accurately track and report commercial risks, mitigation strategies and actions to senior management.
* Maintain contract management documentation and electronic files, including contemporaneously obtaining and managing back-up documentation for delays, claims, back-charges and rejections.
* Ensure timely submission of contractual notifications / deliverables.
* Draft Change Orders proposals, letters, replies and notifications.
* Provide contractual analysis, interpretation and direction on project commercial issues, and drive to successful resolution and closure.
*Pre-Award risk analysis of customer contract terms and conditions for selected projects.
* Ensure appropriate insurance policies are in place for assigned projects and pursue and obtain insurance claim recoveries.
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Contract Management systems including eARS and risk mitigation tools.
* Develop enhancements to existing CM tools and support the development of new CM tools and systems.
*Lead feedback efforts and lessons learned to ITO.
*Hire and develop best in class Contract Management talent.
Role Summary/Purpose
The Contract Management Leader will lead a team that provides Contract Management support in the execution of complex equipment, extended scope, domestic & international Power Plant contracts for the Asia Region. This includes providing commercial/contractual support in the development & implementation of negotiation strategies to mitigate contractual risks on assigned projects, & implement proactive contract management techniques and strategies to prevent & mitigate claims and risks.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 10 years contract administration experience.
* Ability and willingness to support low to moderate travel
