Right now they are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis at Shah Alam. The role is to assist the project team in delivery of works and managing the contracts team across the current and future projects.Roles & Resonsibilities As the Contracts Manager you will be in charge of the analysis of the contractual and legal implications of any issue related to the various projects undertaken. You will provide effective subcontract administration ans assist the project teams in the delivery of several numbers of water engineering projects to the key clients. The job will involve the following role: -Manage subcontract packages,scope & lettings, procurement schedules and assist with head contract,progress claims and external variations. -Manage the performance of contractors in terms of project expenditure,reviewing and processing all subcontractor claims and creditor invoices. -Lead on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as required.Candidate Profile & Requirements To be considered for this senior role as Contracts Manager, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and attributes: -Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Law or Construction Management related degree. -Possess a good knowledge and understanding in overall process of contract management skills. -Solid sufficient experience working in contracts administration on complex construction or water engineering projects. -Strong and proven track record on large commercial construction or civil/water engineering projects. -Strong level of knowledge and understanding of Malaysian standards and construction contracting laws and process. -Possess excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) and negotiation skills. -An exceptional eye for details and ability to read off plans.The Reward You will be rewarded for your expertise and experience with an above average salary package.
