Details of the offer

As a Department Manager, you are responsible for executing all front-end and back-end activities in the store according to the company's standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Conduct merchandising for your product category according to the company's standards and guidelines
• Develop and maintain creative store layout and product merchandising
• Maintain up to date knowledge with key product developments and market trends to execute sales forecasting, manage inventory turnover and develop strategies to
achieve divisional goals
• Achieve company and department goals/KPIs and strive to attain the best possible results
• Proactively supports any promotional activity within the store and contributes to an effective working environment
• Ensure team members are in compliance with established store policies and procedures
• Be a role model by setting good examples to team members
• Develop and motivate your team to attain customer service excellence and sales performance
• Conduct interviews and appraise candidates objectively and fairly
• Continuously review store processes and identify ways to enable more efficient operations in the store
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting managers
Requirements
• Minimum SPM or higher education qualifications.
• Passionate to work in the supermarket/retail industry
• Customer and service oriented
• Action-oriented and outcome-driven
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work in a team
• Strong merchandising skills to drive business through creativity and extensive product knowledge
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
