**Job Purpose**:Responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the KVDT 2 SHE policy especially with regard to the continual improvement process. The emphasis will be on the implementation of environmental control measures that meet the legal and other requirements.**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:- Implement Environmental Management System (EMS) at the project site and comply with EIA approval conditions, EMP, ESCP, ISO 14001 and other legal requirements;- Advise or propose to the construction team in environmental improvements, preventive or corrective actions for environmental control measures as necessary and ensure proper rectification work has been implemented;- Conduct Environmental Induction/Toolbox Meeting for workers and staff at project site;- To provide environmental input for method statement preparation;- Preparation Environmental Monthly Report;- Perform inspection environment on site every daily/weekly and monthly;- Preparation observation report every daily/weekly and monthly;- Attend kick off meeting, HSE Committee Meeting, site weekly meeting and others related meeting;- Maintained and updated Environment checklist records;- To assist/accompany laboratory personnel for environmental sampling and monitoring activities;- To assist 3rd party environmental audit by Auditor and DOE representative personnel on site;- Implement and monitor a program of environmental improvement throughout the project;- Supervise WPC on administrative tasks related to environmental matters;- Coordinate environment training for all personnel;**Experience**:- Minimum 1 year working experience in environmental management- Experience in railway track/or construction works shall be an advantage**Educations/Qualifications**:Minimum degree in Environmental Engineering or any other Engineering discipline.
