**Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd | Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.****Join the largest cinema exhibitor and leading film distributor in Malaysia!****You will play an important role in**:deliver accounts on time measure through speed, accuracy, and cost by educating, implementing, and monitoring of Internal Control System.Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Preparation of Monthly Cinema P&L HQ Departmental Expenditure Account on Time Measure through Speed, Accuracy and Cost- Deliver account within 3 working days after the financial month end closing.- Prepare Management Report, Budgets & Financial Analysis for Management Decisions- Prepare timely monthly management reports and analyse monthly operating results against budget and key performance indicators.- Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels.- Analyse variances and carry out corrective actions when necessary.- Provide other manager support in understanding financial reports.- Study revenue and cost control opportunities.- Evaluate options; recommend courses of action.- Prepared All Analysis & Other Relevant Reports for Management, PPB- Prepare analysis & other relevant reports.- Prepare of Relevant Audit File and Notes to Audited Accounts- Ensure completeness of audit files for entities in charge.- Prepare relevant report/schedule to disclosure notes to audited a/cs.- Meeting the audit deadline.- Ensure compliance with MFRSs.- Preparation of Tax/SST Return for GSC Group- Prepare analysis for SST/tax queries from tax agent.- Checking draft SST/tax computation.- Ensure meeting the deadline of tax return submission.- Preparing tax estimates by deadline of tax return submission.- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.- GL Account Reconciliation- Completing reconciliation of related accounts completed before the 3rd week after monthly a/c is finalised.- Identify and investigate any un-reconcile items within 1 week before the next month end closing (i.e., Accruals, prepayment, deposit, provision, salary contractor retention and etc).- Finance Dept's Records Keeping & Administrative Roles- To ensure accounting documents & records are kept in order at least 7 years for statutory requirement.- To keep complete set of KBS storage Index records.- To keep 1 copy of Index records by FM for offsite safe keeping every year.- Coordinate the administrative function in finance.- Preparation of Journal Vouchers- Ensure proper supporting documentation to journal vouchers.- Ensure correctness of journal description.- Staff Claim Processing- Ensure that staff claims adhere to approval limit with sufficient documentation.- Any Other Related Ad Hoc Company Programmes AssignedTo be successful in this role, you need to:- Possess degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.- At least 4 years accounting role include tax, audit, consolidation, month end closing experience.- Possess knowledge in Accounting standard, Income tax, Consolidation, SST/GST,- Having strong analytical skill, preparing management reports.
