You will: This role will deliver fair and consistent underwriting decisions that are based on our company philosophy, deliver strong mortality results that are consistent with expectations, while maintaining a relentless client focus.
Review and analyse customers credit, financial statements, business nature, transaction volume data to gain an overall credit overview for decisioning. Ensure every desioning is in par with Credit Risk strategies. Understand the features of all loan products and attend to enquiries and complaints and follow through for effective resolution. Escalate issues to management with necessary data for mitigation/solution. Ensure safe, sound and timely underwriting practices and overall leadership of Bigpay later credit standards. Ensure all applications are decided based on KPI & SLA set by the management. Requirements: Strong underwriting experience, including analyzing credit and financial data. Ability to align underwriting decisions with credit risk strategies. Knowledge of loan products and effective resolution of customer inquiries and complaints. Skill in escalating issues to management with necessary data for mitigation. Commitment to safe, sound, and timely underwriting practices. Experience working with Loan Management systems is an added advantage Adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set by management.
