Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager

Job Description Accountable for managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting activities and functions. Generate regular and ad-hoc financial analyses pertaining to outlet performance, Company Level P&L, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet. Oversee all audit and tax-related matters, providing guidance and recommend propose the correct treatment to the accounting team and management. Maintain complete and accurate records of all capital expenditures to make sure that tax allowances are maximised. Conduct analysis and evaluation of inventory levels across outlets and the warehouse. Uphold adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring financial reports are maintained and comply with Financial Reporting Standards. Responsible for prepare periodic forecasting exercises and annual budget. Collaborate with tax agents, regulatory bodies and auditors, including preparation of supporting documentation and relevant schedules. Regularly review and update task-level descriptions and financial process manuals to facilitate knowledge retention and support finance operations team members when necessary. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their skill development and managing team performance for seamless operations. Offer suggestions for enhancing the Accounting System. Requirements Posses at least Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate Professional Certificate in Accounting / Finance / Banking or other related discipline. Ability to have a good communication skills, leadership, problem-solving, analytical skills and self-driven. Capable of thriving and delivering results under pressure, demonstrating initiative, drive, and dedication. Familiarity with the Companies Act and relevant tax law such as Corporate & Income Tax and SST. Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is required for the role.
