Financial Controller - (Bayan Lepas, Penang)

Major Responsibilities:1. To lead the accounting & financial and human resources & administration functions of the group.2. Accomplishes finance strategies by determining accountabilities, and communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures.3. Develop finance strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.4. Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans;5. Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; and minimizing the impact of variances.6. Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; and maintaining relationships with the investment community.7. Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; and developing improvements.8. Keep abreast with changes in financial reporting standards and new regulations relevant to similar industry.9. Monitoring and support cash flow planning of the company10.
