Health And Safety Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Perform all duties and requirements designated to the Safety and Health Officer, and/or required by regulation or company policy.
- Verify compliance with safety regulations and company standards, and ensure all necessary programs and records are prepared and maintained according to established guidelines.
- Responsible for achieving measureable results in reducing both the frequency and severity of incidents.
- Coordinate and perform workplace risk assessments and routine safety audits, including recommended corrective actions.
- Maintain the site in a state of readiness for internal and external audits.
- Work with cross functional organizations to improve and develop effective and sustainable solutions for safety challenges, risks and requirements.
- Conducts safety related classroom training, coaching and feedback to various level employees.
- Responds to emergencies and investigates accidents, including root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action.
- Completes required federal, state and local government reports relating to safety.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Develop and execute safety programs to enhance safety culture for the site.

- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health, or Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years in ESH.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer and/or other safety related competency are preferable.
- Working experience in manufacturing industry preferably in Semiconductor Company.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

- Good presentation, communication and training skills.
- Experienced in ISO14000 and ISO45001.
