Supply Assurance
Job Description

1. Runs and participates in Supply Assurance reviews with the Category Managers and Executive teams
2. Understands those key products impacting each business, key Customers, and what is preventing our suppliers from building
3. Drives each gating item to resolution with both the Purchasing teams, Category Teams, Suppliers, Engineering, and Exec teams
4. Looks at all possible options to resolve including: distribution, Alternative suppliers, Expedited freight, etc
5. Understands current Lead-Times and what the long pole is for our key suppliers, drives to reduce these Lead-times
6. Works with the Business Teams to understand both short and long-term forecast and the communication to the teams.
7. Participates in driving potential alternate suppliers
8. Ability to work in a fast pace environment
9. Understands key shortages impacting out customers
10. Drives overall shortage Metrics
11. Provides training to sites on escalation guidelines, monitoring to make sure the teams are following the guidelines
12. Effectively communicates long-term supply concerns, drives solutions

Basic Requirements

1.Bachelor’s Degree
2.5 years experience in Supply Chain / Procurement
3.Excel / Powerpoint
4.Leadership skills and traits
5.Effective communication with all levels of management
6.Ability to multitask
