Internship (Procurement)

**JOB DESCRIPTION**1) Research and evaluate attractive lines of products to meet departmental needs.2) Assist in decision making to select the best vendors based on price, quality, distribution. cost and other factors.3) Follow up with potential vendors to determine the best deals for the company.4) Highlight issues with existing vendors while seeking new ones.5) Communicate with line managers during the planning and purchasing process with potential vendors.6) To assist procurement manager future trends and consumer buying patterns.7) Follow up on purchase order estimated delivery time and date.8) Coordinate with Store Manager, Division Manager and Receiving in charge on scheduled delivery and storage.9) Any ad-hoc tasks from supervisor from time to time.**REQUIREMENT**- Excellent verbal and written communication.- Persuasive and excellent influencing skills.- Possess good analytical skills and is well-versed in digital media techniques.- Individual who is passionate, resourceful, self-motivated, highly committed, a team player and able to motivate others.- An unending willingness to learn.- Must be willing to work in highly dynamic and challenging startup environment.**Job Type**: InternshipContract length: 4 months**Salary**: RM800.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
