A key account manager's main role is to retain top customers and nurture those key relationships over time. Ideally, key account managers are expected to discover new opportunities to work together with the sales team members for mutual benefit.Candidate is expected to be based in downstream entity in Seksyen 16, Shah Alam to carry out the below tasks but not limited to:Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and companyResolving key client issues and complaintsDeveloping a complete understanding of key account needsAnticipating key account changes and improvementsManaging communications between key clients and internal teamsManaging account team assigned to each clientStrategic planning to improve client resultsNegotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performanceEstablishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the clientWorking with customer service team, operations, logistics and fellow team mates dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs metCollaborating with the fellow sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-sellingPlanning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company trainingMeeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelinesAnalyzing client data to provide customer relationship management as well as expanding relationships and bringing in new clients.Position requirements are as follows:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant fieldAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlySelf-motivated, self-directed, goal-oriented, organized team player with excellent interpersonal relationship skillsIn-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industryEager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territoriesAble to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-personGood Microsoft Office skills, and experience with CRM software with emphasis on excel and power point.Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contractsAbility to multitask and manage more than one client accountProven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.Female candidates are encouraged to applyAt NS BlueScope our success comes from our people.
