Job Description:
1. Legal Assistant/Associate
(1) Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Associate:
a) Handling of conveyancing matters pertaining to Property
sales, purchases, transfers and financing including
tenancies; and
b) Preparation and maintenance of overall as well as
individual status reports for files under his/her purview.
(2) Corporate Legal Assistant:Associate:
a) Handle and manage corporate commercial matters which include mergers and
acquisitions, due diligence exercises, joint ventures, share sale agreements, legal opinions
and any commercial contracts in general; and
b) Research drafting and inputting of legal opinion based on research findings.
2. Pupil/Chambering
The Pupil will be exposed to Civil Litigation, Property (Conveyancing) and corporate work.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Legal Assistant/Associate:
a) Recognised academic and professional qualifications for law practice in Malaysia;
b) Good interpersonal and communication skills;
c) Written and spoken proficiencies in both English and the Malay languages;
d) Meticulous;
e) Computer literate; and
f) Able to adapt to the Firm's work culture.
2. Pupil/Chambering Student:
a) Recognised academic and professional qualifications for
law practice in Malaysia;
b) Good interpersonal and communication skills;
c) Written and spoken proficiencies in both English and the
Malay languages;
d) Computer literate; and
e) Willingness to learn.
