Logistics Operation - Internship

Schedule Daily Trips and assigning job to 25 drivers and above- Actively liaise with customers and transport companies in relation to active shipments.- Troubleshoot shipments that encounter issues (truck breakdown, rejections, delays, etc.)- Manage the performance of transport vendors and ensure that they follow the customer SOP& and safety procedures.- Manage carrier performance, especially in case of repeated non-compliance.- Follow up and update driver status to customer (if needed after work).- To ensure all Delivery Order have to endorse and signed in return as a proof of unloaded.**Requirement**- Land transport (trucking)- Good understanding of trucking operations with industry-leading SLAs and improving operations performance.- Proven ability to effectively work together with external transport vendors and partners.- Understanding the delicate relationship working with customers and sub-contractors, from negotiation till completion of transport delivery tasks.- Ability to demonstrate a proven record of success in managing fluctuating volumes in a highly pressurized environment**Personal Attributes**:- Proficient oral and written communication in English & Malay- Excellent interpersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Strong team player- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language- Keen attention to detail**Job Type**: InternshipContract length: 6 months**Salary**: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Cell phone reimbursementSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Language**:- English and Malay (preferred)Expected Start Date: 07/01/2023
