**The Opportunity**Our client's vision is to lead the Circular Economy through innovative Packaging, Reuse and Recycling solutions. Currently, they are looking for a **Logistics Specialist** to drive the company's Logistics performance and continuous improvement.This role will work closely with the Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations teams across the company to identify and address Logistics losses and opportunities to improve Logistics efficiency and costs.This role is also required manage the Purchase Order relationship with international suppliers based predominately in SE Asia. The Logistics Specialist will be a center-led point for the centralizing of delivery requests from the sites across Australia, compiling the forward delivery schedule, the communications between the suppliers and the company's Central Resin team and Steel Ordering teams.**Key Responsibilities**- Raise back-to-back orders based on internal orders from Head Office to Central Order Management.- Manage feedback and escalations to site based teams for variation in order quantity, timing, and general enquiries.- Partner with key stakeholders across logistics, warehousing, planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams to identify and address Purchasing requirements including the management and placement of orders in a timely and efficient manner to enable shipping and importation to Australia/NZ as needed by the business units.- First level analysis and investigation to identify and actively reduce errors in orders and variability in supply.- Compiling the forward delivery schedule, international freight movement and coordination with the supplier base.- Manage and consolidate the requests for order changes from suppliers and Freight Forwarder.- Undertaking analysis to support control and improvement of flow and inventory integrity.- Identifying current system and develop solutions to make our Supply Chain system more efficient in both cost and procedure.- Support GM Logistics in managing Logistics suppliers and developing key partners.**Qualifications & Experience**- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Suppliers and Exporting team interactions.- Experience in working within an order management process involving Ocean Freight Providers, Freight Forwarders and Domestic 3PL/4PL.- Experience in Order Management and expediting skills.- Very good written and verbal English Language communication skills.- Excellent stakeholder relationships and good interpersonal and communication skills.- An ability to show initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines with strong influencing skill.**ASW Offers**- A diverse, inclusive, and supportive company culture- Competitive remuneration- Opportunity to collaborate and work with global clients and stakeholders- Medical benefits- Great Paid Leave entitlements- Team outings, travel opportunities, company parties/events, and other exciting activities- Exposure to an international environment, working with people across Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia- Industry and role-related training- Ongoing career opportunities.LI-JL1
