We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team as the Manager Cash & Cheque.

Principal responsibilities

- Lead the planning, management and implementation of the bank’s (HBMY and HBMS) Cash Management and Self Service Terminal strategies, in line with the Bank’s Revolving Operating Plan (ROP), overall direction and business objectives to attain high productivity, prudent cost management and process efficiency.

- Lead the Branch Support Services Team for Call Back confirmation on Foreign External Account (FEA) on Purpose of Payment as per Central Bank requirement. Ensure meeting of SLA for cheque return and Central Bank reporting on Balance of Payment for FEA transactions.

- Lead the Cheque Clearing Team for Cashiers Order/Foreign Currency Demand Draft issuance, Clean Bills Receivable Process, Inward Return/Late Return from Collecting Bank.

- Managing Bank Negara Reporting for Cheque Dashboard.

- To drive the implementation of regulatory and Global Standards.

- Key liaison and coordinator for Cash & Cheques with RBWM, CS Support, SwD and SFR team on initiatives and related projects that aim at reviewing, improving processes relating to Cash Management and Self Service Terminals.

- Key liaison and coordinator for Cash & Cheques with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM), The Association of Islamic Banks in Malaysia (IBM), Paynet for Shared ATM Network (MEPs SAN) on initiatives and related projects that aim at reviewing, improving processes, combating risks that relates to Cash Management and Self Service Terminals.

- Key liaison and coordinator for Cash & Cheques with Business Partners on SLAs.

- Key liaison and coordinator for Cash & Cheques with vendors on SLAs.

- Support the bank in processing customer request for Electronic Share Application (ESA) service on new Initial Public Order (IPO) by Malaysia Issuing House and Equinity Services.

- Managing Bank Negara Reporting for Cheque Dashboard.

- BCP Coordinator for Cash & Cheque.

- To provide governance and oversight of work done at GSC Cyberjaya.

Qualifications

Requirements

- Possess a minimum Degree qualification with relevant work experience;
- It would be advantageous, if you possess knowledge of Cash Management and Self Service Terminal strategies.
- Possess a pleasant and approachable personality;
- Strong team player, organised, analytical and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task;
- An effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability and professionalism;
- Able to cope with fast pace environment, pressure and tight deadlines;
- Able to work independently and manage a team.
