Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA!The incumbent will work with the Associate Director to support and manage Market Intelligence & Research projects and initiatives to be more effective in providing key insights to the key business partners. The primary role is to derive insights on customers or agents from analysis and synthesis of the research data together with other intelligence information to provide understanding, opportunity identification and springboards for action. This role also supports the marketing function in the area of market research planning and budgeting, project management, coordination and reporting. This role will be liaising on behalf of the team with the regional team and across different business functions within the company and is responsible to continuously improve and monitor the data quality of research and intelligence information to drive the overall company’s strategy and vision.Job ResponsibilitiesÂExecute and manage research projects commissioned by various stakeholders, ensuring that the right methodology and approach is used and that the business is equipped to form decisions and directionsPrepare and manage market intelligence initiatives such as competitor developments, external macroeconomics, market trends, competitive landscape, and other related topic specific insights to ensure the business is equipped to form strategies and action plansWork cross-functionally within the company such as Marketing, Customer Experience, Agency Distribution, Partnership Distribution, Corporate Solutions, and other business channels to derive insights on customers/agents from analysis and synthesis of the right market intelligence and research dataWork closely with the regional team on research projects and other related initiatives assigned to the local market in terms of operational support, workshop preparation, logistic arrangement, scheduling and recruitmentCommunicate and liaise effectively with local research agencies and other vendors as well as agents and customers for any research activities requiredResponsible for continuous improvement and monitoring of the data integrity of research data collected by planning, reviewing, implementing and managing data integrity activitiesPerform other responsibilities and ad hoc duties assigned by manager in order to meet business strategic operational, and/or other requirementsJob RequirementsMinimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Psychology, or its equivalentMinimum 5 years of relevant market research experience, preferably to have both qualitative and/or quantitative.
