They will assist to deepen the Firm's relationships with strategic clients and stakeholders and broaden KPMG's brand and influence in priority sectors. The candidate will ideally be a go-getter and outside-the-box thinker to convert insights into opportunities for growth.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Markets Manager, the candidate will: - Assist in marketing initiatives to promote KPMG's services in Malaysia, with working knowledge of market segmentation, product placement and project management skillsets. - Assist in business development initiatives and help identify and nurture key relationships with targeted stakeholders of influence. To also assist in strategic sector and account portfolio management by working with engagement teams across the audit, tax and advisory functions. - Develop and manage proposals that will secure new business by leveraging on keen insights into the potential client's business issues. - Organize and coordinate events (physical and online) and projects as part of the firm's business development initiatives. - Work with regional and global business units to develop and activate strategies and plans that will contribute towards KPMG's growth agenda and building sustainable relationships with clients and other stakeholders. - Assist the Head of Department on special projects as part of the firm's Collective Strategy.Requirements- Bachelor's degree (Second Class and higher) in Business, Marketing or related fields - For Executive level, minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, business administration, marketing or similar. - Strong oral and written communication in English as a minimum other language proficiencies would be an advantage. - High proficiency in Microsoft suite of software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Working knowledge of MS Power BI an advantage. Proficiencies we seek: - Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable as a public speaker. - Experienced in producing events and online webinars, with proven project management skills. - Independent, self-motivated, detail conscious, capable multi-tasker and able to work within tight deadlines.
