**The Role**:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Material & Logistics Coordinator. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our operations, while adhering to strict regulatory compliance and contributing to cost optimization. You will leverage your expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and international supply chain practices to maintain optimal resource levels, implement improvement initiatives, and support departmental functions.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely coordination of material arrivals, deliveries, and order fulfillment.- Work closely with the operations team to resolve supply chain disruptions, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.- Act as the primary liaison for material and logistics matters with the Eqyptian representative of our Egyptian Supply Chain team, fostering seamless collaboration and information exchange.- Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups, deliveries, and selecting cost-effective options.- Monitor shipment status, track delivery progress, and promptly address any delays or issues to ensure on-time deliveries.- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and facilitate material handling, picking, and order distribution for efficient workflow.- Provide accurate and well-founded estimations of logistics costs across various areas (process, warehouse, transportation, capital), supporting informed decision-making and financial planning.- Collaborate with warehouse team to implement effective solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and cost optimization.- Build and maintain positive relationships with shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure smooth, reliable shipments.- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customs and government agencies, staying informed of regulations and collaborating to facilitate efficient import/export processes.- Oversee and maintain all controlled substances licenses for Malaysian operations, ensuring strict adherence to Export regulations and compliance.- Champion the implementation of country-specific international supply chain requirements within the local context, adapting processes and procedures effectively.- Provide comprehensive support for all supply and service goals, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure successful execution.- Develop and lead cross-functional initiatives to address non-standard supply chain and logistics requirements, identifying and realizing cost-saving opportunities across various business structures (products, projects, and services).**Qualifications & Skills**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations or supply chain roles, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment.- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and international supply chain practices.- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively participate in teleconferences.- Proven experience managing supervisory-level employees in a manufacturing setting.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges proactively.- Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build collaborative relationships and communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.- Familiar with custom regulations.**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)**Experience**:- Supply chain management: 1 year (preferred)
