**Position Overview**:As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. You will undertake various tasks, assisting in daily office operations, and ensuring smooth communication and coordination among employees, departments, and external parties. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks will contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the office.**Responsibilities**:- Provide administrative support: Assist with document preparation, filing, data entry, record keeping, and maintaining office supplies.- Coordinate office activities: Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members.- Organize and maintain office systems: Establish and maintain efficient filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring documents are easily accessible and properly stored.- Handle confidential information: Ensure sensitive information is handled and stored securely, following established protocols and maintaining strict confidentiality.- Perform additional tasks as assigned: Assist with special projects, event planning, and other duties as needed to contribute to the smooth functioning of the office.**Qualifications and Skills**:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.- Knowledge of basic office equipment and procedures**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM1,800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Fixed shift- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Expected Start Date: 07/03/2023
