Oracle Database Administrator (Dba) - Malaysian

Responsibility & Requirements- Installing and maintaining Oracle database software.- Installing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server database software.- Installing and maintaining IBM DB2 database software.- Installing and maintaining MySQL database software.- Installing and maintaining GaussDB database software.- Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.- Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.- Setting up database user accounts.- Training users on how to access the information in the database.- Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.- Creating autonomous database backups.- Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB- Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required- Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB- Ensure SLA's & operational KPI's are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur- To perform database and host operating system security patching and configuration as required.- Regularly updating the database security protocols.Key Qualifications- 4-5 years of working experiences as DBA- Degree or master holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field- Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalisation), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.- Able to operate Oracle, MS Sql Server, IBM DB2 and Mysql management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, SSMS, IBM DSC, etc ).**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- Notice Period**Experience**:- DBA: 4 years (preferred)- Oracle DBA: 4 years (preferred)- Mysql DBA: 4 years (preferred)
