This includes ensuring board level reliability that emulates customer PCB design. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring process control during package reliability and establishing procedures for the operation team's execution. Identify process improvements to ensure cost and productivity gains.You will need to coordinate with various functional parties to ensure that the reliability process aligns with industrial standards such as JEDEC and not just Micron specifications. Additionally, to respond to inquiries from internal and external customers as a domain expert for package reliability activities.Responsibilities and TasksPackage Reliability Process DevelopmentTo work with engineering team for enablement of new product (NPI)Ensure hardware readiness for package reliability process like Temperature Cycling, HAST, HTS and etc.Modify and improve reliability process for existing productsEvaluate and Improve Processes, Materials, and/or EquipmentIdentify, investigate, and document process deviations.Solve process deviations using systematic solving techniques.Perform risk assessment at all decision points within the qualification cycleDevelop Process Reliability Methodology and QualificationLead development/improvement of Process, Equipment and/or MaterialEstablish engineering evaluation (DOE)Identify factors that impact process quality and propose solutionsIdentify and evaluate interactions between equipment, processes and resolve potential issuesIdentify and implement equipment process control methodsDevelop process limits and capabilities (CpK) and lead process improvementIntroduction of New Process and Process Changes to OperationImplement new standard to align with changes of industrial standard for reliability process procedure.Conduct training/briefing for operation team on operation proceduresDevelop process reliability tests to assess new process failure mechanismsEnsure that test methodology follows industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC)Define process sampling plan and instruction.Strong trouble shooting skill using 8DAnalyze and report results Analyze failures and coordinate failure analysisDevelop process monitor planSupport Excursion Material DispositionEstablish documentation and procedureTo establish document for new process and revise existing procedure whenever applicable.To ensure compliance to internal and external auditObserve all established EHSS policies, requirements, and proceduresFollow EHSS guidelines included in work instructionEducationFresh graduates with education background of bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering are welcomed to apply.
