Plantations Manager

**Location**:Kuala Kangsar and Lenggong Perak- Oversee over 600 acres of durian plantation land, providing reports to the Management- Responsible for planning of the optimal planting method, managing workers, admin, and handling business activities- Manage day to day operations - optimising where necessary- Hand-on supervision on planting and harvesting timing, taking records on yield and quality- Ensure compliance to the latest regulatory requirements, working with relevant authorities- Stay up-to-date on the latest and most effective technology and methods in handling diseases, and pest, as well as fertilisers- Planning and maintenance of farm infrastructure and machinery - working with relevant contractors- Other functions as assigned by the Management**Job Requirements**:- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture/Forestry/Plantation Management or equivalent experience- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English (mandatory), and preferably, working knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese)- At least 3 year(s) of hands-on farming experience (preferably durian)- Thorough knowledge of- Principles, methods, and techniques of practical farm management- Soils, crops, and of farm building and equipment care and maintenance- Plant diseases and insect pests and of modern methods of their prevention, eradication, and cure.- Good leadership qualities and able to work independently- Willing to be relocated**Benefits**:- Accommodation and transportation allowance provided- Five and a half day working week (negotiable)- Medical and hospitalisation insurance (upon confirmation)- Annual leave, EPF and SOCSO**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
