Product Development Executive

Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service.- Develop cost reduction strategies in order to negotiate pricing as well as participate actively in supplier development and evaluation programs.- Responsible for the continuous development of procurement processes.- Responsible for planning, budgeting and costing for new product developments.- Negotiate competitive prices from assigned suppliers to sources components.- Responsible for supplier selection and continuous cost down.- Liaise with local and international suppliers to source components.- Evaluate complete product from supplier based on quality standard, delivery time and criteria.- To iron out the selling features with respective department.- Training to sales / service / marketing on product knowledge / selling point / features.- Ability to work independently or with mínimal supervision.**; Requirements**:- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin. Able to communicate in Mandarin will be advantage as need to communicate with supplier engineer from China.- At least 1 - 2 year(s) of working experience in Procurement / Product Development.- Preferred with IOT knowledge.- Self-driven and ability to work independently.- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.- Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
