Production Manager

**Company Overview**The company was established in 1984, providing professional services for manufacturer of custom moulds, precision components rubber moulding and engineering works.**Responsibilities**:- Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes- Oversee the hiring and training production personnel- Ensure manufacturing and processing workers wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety- Responsible for organizing and recording the arrangement of materials, goods, finished products and tooling and report to management on monthly basis- To comply 5S for housekeeping and hygiene routine checking- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards- Oversee the maintenance, repair and replacement of production equipment to ensure work operations run smoothly- Oversee, monitor and record the lifespan of tooling- Develop and promote new products to boost sales and increase generated returns- Set production objectives and implement action plans to achieve sales targets- Conduct forecast to identify potential risks and contingencies in a proposed project- Prepare periodic reports to update Management- Create work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operations- Provide on job training of operators and coach existing operators- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and products- Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions- Carry out surveys to identify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needs- Ensure all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to- Attend to seminars, conferences and educational programs to update on job knowledge- Verify rejects from line and daily reporting of production output- Support quality department in internal and external analysis of quality issues- Monitor manpower, assist production and support logistic department activities**Requirements**:- Posses a Bachelor's Degree in Material Engineering or equivalent- With 5-10 years' experience in related field- Posses excellent leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills- Required Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)- Willing to work in Johor Bahru, Johor- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm; Saturday, 8.30am to 3pm**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
