Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

Responsible to assist Project Manager in the overall management of a project from initial to final acceptance by customer. This includes, but is not limited to all planning, organizing, and controlling the coordination activities, contract and subcontract negotiations and executions, establishment and maintenance of a cohesive project schedule. Supports engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; preparing reports and calculations.

Job duties

- Prepare equipment layout designs, detail drawings, specifications and engineering calculation.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Assist project manager in control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plant and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Generates solutions based on good engineering practice, which maybe beyond current practices and procedures. Working Environment

Office environment and outside work (infrequent).

Requirements

- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in relevant field.
- Good communication skills: verbal, written reports and presentation in English.
- Excellent knowledge of design and 3D CAD software, example Autodesk Inventor/Autocad.
- Advanced MS office skills
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Time management and organization skills
