Purchaser

Purpose of Job: To ensure procurement operating in order according the schedule and progress, with the aim to provide and support excellence in services to customers and company's operational requirements, productivity and quality within reasonable cost. Principle Job Responsibilities: a)Follows up and review all purchasing task are at a competitive price. b)Conduct cost down plan. c)Conduct stock deduction planning and analysis. d)Expedite all purchases and subcontracted parts deliveries. Ensure all purchases and subcontracted parts are from approved source. Manage a list of approved suppliers and subcontractors. e)Monitor and manage vendor/supplier delivery performance. f)To source for new supplier and subcontractors and negotiate for competitive prices to increase company profit margins. g)Team up with QA to qualify suppliers and subcontractors under the Supplier Qualification Report. Compute the supplier performance rating report quarterly and made known their performance to them. Review and monitor their performance. h)Ensure sufficient indirect material supply to production. i)Maintain updated direct and indirect materials price-list, MOQ and lead time. j)Issue PR and PO. k)Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
