Purchasing Officer

To source and procure for existing products and new products developments. - To forecast, plan, execute, monitor deliveries and control the purchasing activities and inventory level according to the company policy and procedure. - To liaise with production and warehouse regarding material ordering, delivery and plan. - To study and analyse the purchasing trend to ensure that it contributes continue saving to the company. - Suppliers' negotiation in services, performance, delivery, quality, payment term, service and gain cost effective in purchasing. - To address and resolve situation such as supply chain shortages, allocations, material discrepancies and to ensure contingency plan or alternate sources of supply is available. - Maintain and update the records of approved suppliers list and to perform supplier visit and audit together with Quality department, to prepare audit report to ensure suppliers are perform the requirements. - To perform indirect purchasing including premium goods ,services, sub-contractors for facilities and maintenance - Prepare monthly, yearly and ad-hoc report when required. Maintain accurate supplier price book in system and review system on regular basis. - To implementation and monitor purchasing policies and procedures for improvement and detect possible problems. - Handling import shipments; liaise with supplier and shipping department all on documentation required for import clearance matters. - Negotiate / liaise with suppliers on matters pertaining to : sample requisition, all relevant and related data sheet. - To initiate cost reduction activities through negotiation with existing suppliers and to source for new suppliers.Manufacturing of Medicated Oil Company located at Larkin Industrial Estate.Bachelor's or Equivalent
