Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and operational insights to guide beverage development initiatives. Costing and Formulation: Establish cost structures for new formulations and oversee the preparation of food tasting sessions, iterating rapidly to refine products. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, QA/QC, Marketing, and Supply Chain to streamline product development processes and ensure successful launches. Supplier Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and partners, maintaining strong communication and rapport to support R&D initiatives. Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing on product stability, shelf-life, and compliance with Halal requirements and health regulations. Continuous Improvement: Investigate and address product complaints or feedback, maintaining up-to-date SOP documentation and facilitating knowledge sharing. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years in F&B chain/retail or F&B product development, with a focus on coffee-related industries preferred. Innovative Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and execute new methods, with strong sensory skills for product benchmarking and development. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel, with a good understanding of ingredient formulation and development principles. Communication Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Malay, proficiency in other languages is advantageous. Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating responsiveness and collaboration.
