They are looking for a Safety and Health Officer due to rapid expansion.**Job Description**:- Oversees safety, health, and environmental audits conducted by regulatory bodies for the company, closely monitoring stakeholder action plans and providing guidance to ensure compliance with the prevailing Occupational Safety & Health Act of Malaysia.- Recognizes, suggests, and initiates company-wide mandatory training programs mandated by both legal requirements and internal policies.- Advocates for and assumes accountability for plant safety, fostering a culture of safe work practices. Ensures all on-site personnel adhere to company safety policies by planning, implementing, and coordinating programs aimed at reducing or eliminating occupational injuries, illnesses, fatalities, and financial losses resulting from unsafe behaviors and conditions.- Identifies potential or actual areas of non-compliance through the establishment of a systematic audit/on-site inspection system. Evaluates corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and prevent recurrence.**Requirements**:- Profound comprehension of pertinent legal guidelines in health and safety, such as the Occupational Safety & Health Act and BOMBA Regulations.- Certified as Registered Safety & Health Officer of DOSH- Well-versed in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems, with a grasp of audit processes.- Proficient in producing highly accurate reports and developing strategic action plans to realize the Zero-Harm vision.- Able to think out of the box in coming up with safety and health solutions for the plant.JTK Number**:JTKSM 995** | Company Registration Number**:201301019088 (1048918-T)
