As a Magazine Advertising Salesperson, your primary responsibility is to sell advertising space in a magazine to various companies or individuals. This role involves several specific tasks and responsibilities:- **Identifying and Attracting Advertisers**: Identifying potential advertisers, including businesses that might be interested in advertising their products or services in the magazine.- **Explaining Advertising Packages**: Providing information to potential advertisers about advertising space options, sizes, placements, and pricing.- **Conveying Reader Demographics**: Offering insights into the magazine's reader demographics, including age, gender, interests, and buying habits, to demonstrate how their advertisement can reach their target audience.- **Negotiating and Closing Sales**: Negotiating terms and prices with clients and managing the sales closure process, including confirming advertisement bookings.- **Coordinating with Creative Teams**: Collaborating with design or creative teams to ensure that advertisements are created and presented in line with advertiser requirements and magazine standards.- **Building and Maintaining Client Relationships**: Establishing long-term relationships with advertisers through excellent customer service and ongoing communication.- **Monitoring Market Trends**: Staying informed about trends in the advertising and magazine industry to provide relevant advice to advertisers.- **Meeting Sales Targets**: Striving to meet or exceed sales targets set by the employer.- **Reporting**: Preparing reports for management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market issues.- **Education and Training**: Attending training sessions related to sales, market trends, and product developments.**Job Type**: ContractPay: RM5,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per monthSupplemental pay types:- Commission pay- Performance bonusAbility to Commute:- Putrajaya (required)Ability to Relocate:- Putrajaya: Relocate before starting work (required)
