MAIN TASKS
Sustain Process Controls applications. Analyze and track performance. Identify and correct problems. Develop and provide additional training when required
Troubleshoot Process controls problems. Identify causes and make recommendations for improvements and/or implement
improvements
Implement Process Controls and Advanced Process Controls applications in collaboration with regional and global BASF
experts and various stakeholders
Facilitate user training on Process Controls applications
Provide site support for process controls project teams, which will include assisting with developing project approval packages,
participate in approval review meetings, developing packages for contractors/vendors and perform contractor selection
Continuous improvement of project execution and sustainment practices, ensuring alignment with other process automation
disciplines (DCS, MES). Evaluation of new developments in advanced process control technology in collaboration with
regional and global centers of expertise. Maintain overview of process controls need and requirement in ICS and PTF
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Chemical / Process, Electrical Engineering.
Solid knowledge of PID based real-time control system design methodology and best practices.
Proficiency in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Basic knowledge of the various types of pressure, level, temperature and flow instrumentation.
Solid work experience in design, engineering, implementation and maintenance of process control and safety instrumented systems for chemical, petrochemical, natural gas and offshore facilities.
Experience with instrumentation and electrical systems associated Process Control Systems.
Strong communication, management and leadership skills
Proactivity, drive & commitment towards standard & performance for self & team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
