Job Description
- Key account and sparring partner for local top Management (e.g. plant/site manager)
- Ensure operational excellence in HR processes and products and drive satisfaction of local stakeholder with HR
- Overall responsibility for HR Budget, personnel cost structure and workforce planning at location
- Negotiation partner for union representatives and responsible for all grievance and discipline handling
- Oversee the supply chain of foreign, outsourced & contract workers as well as matters pertaining to the welfare & well-being of employees
- Responsibility for development, implementation and monitoring of HR projects and initiatives
- Ensure compliance for local laws, regulations and local HR requirements
- Inspire HR community in the location to create an environment for cultural change and agile working
Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor's Degree in HR related field. Post graduate Masters are an added advantage
- At least 10 years of working experience in related field, 5 years as HR Manager
- Experience in managing all aspect of HR functions, preferably in manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of managing sensitive confidential situations
- Confidence and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proactive, organized & a good team player
